A full-time, in-person occupational therapy opportunity is available within a school environment near Burien, WA, focused on supporting PreK through elementary-aged students. This position offers guaranteed hours with a straightforward hiring process designed for immediate placement.

Position Overview:
The Occupational Therapist will provide specialized support to help students develop functional, academic, and developmental skills necessary for success in school. Emphasis is placed on collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a student-centered approach to intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for PreK–Elementary students
  • Conduct assessments targeting fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and monitor progress regularly
  • Maintain detailed documentation adhering to school policies and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active or eligible for Washington State OT licensure
  • Experience with early childhood or elementary populations is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
