Serving students from early childhood through age 22, this full-time occupational therapy role supports a K-12 school district located in Redmond, WA. The position offers an opportunity to work onsite, providing therapy services across multiple schools within the district. This contract role covers the current school year and extends through the 2026-2027 school year, with an anticipated end date of June 12, 2026.

The caseload consists of approximately 70 students ranging in ages 3 to 22. Support from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), who has been with the district for two years, will be available to ensure collaborative and effective service delivery. Candidates do not need previous school-based experience to be considered for this role. A valid Washington State OT license is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy services to students across the district as per Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff to promote students’ functional independence and participation
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Supporting transition planning and facilitating accommodations within the educational environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Washington State
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently

This full-time contract position requires availability for onsite work, 37.5 hours per week, within the district’s schools.
