A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in a K-12 school location in Renton, WA, with a school-year contract. This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services within a school setting to support the developmental, functional, and academic success of students.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Assessing students’ fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews to monitor student development
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with school policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active or eligibility for a Washington State Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary age populations is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills to support a collaborative learning environment
