Occupational Therapist School Setting in Richmond, CA

An immediate short-term opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting. This full-time contract position begins approximately February 2 and continues through April 10, with a spring break break from April 6 to April 10. Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to student needs through both in-person and teletherapy methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students within the K-12 range.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions.
• Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records compliant with school and healthcare regulations.
• Support student participation and functional independence within the educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school-based settings.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices for occupational therapy.
• Background in healthcare and/or home health OT services is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ability to manage a full-time workload with flexibility around the school calendar.
