Occupational Therapist School Setting in Jonesboro, LA

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide part-time occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting. This role is focused on supporting students across various sites within the district, ensuring that each child receives the necessary therapeutic interventions to enhance their educational experience.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Current State Occupational Therapy License or eligible to obtain licensure
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy is preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs

Location:
Jonesboro, LA

Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement therapeutic strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
• Travel between multiple sites within the district to deliver services
