A contracted Occupational Therapist position is available to support a K-12 educational setting in Salisbury, MD, with a focus on serving elementary school students. This role is ideal for therapists experienced in school-based occupational therapy who are ready to make a meaningful impact in a public school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students within the elementary school setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student participation and success in the educational environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student development and address functional challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for practice in Maryland.
  • Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
  • Knowledge of K-12 educational environments and related therapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain professional documentation.
