A full-time, school-year contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to serve K-12 students with mild to severe multiple disabilities in Riverside, CA. This role requires a professional skilled in administering assessments such as the BOT-3 and Peabody to students aged 3-22. The position is itinerant, requiring travel to approximately seven different school sites throughout the week, with the flexibility to create a personalized schedule based on district needs.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing direct therapy services, consulting with educators and parents, and utilizing data effectively to address parent concerns and formulate service recommendations. The caseload will vary as student needs evolve, with no cap on the number of students requiring assessment or consultation. Previous school-based or extensive clinical experience is essential, as this role involves independent practice without additional OTs on site.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Expertise in administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments
  • Experience working with students with mild to severe multiple disabilities
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple sites efficiently
  • Strong clinical skills in using data-driven approaches for therapy planning
  • Capability to work independently within school-based settings
  • Excellent communication skills to consult and collaborate with families and educators

Location: Riverside, CA
Schedule: Full-time, school-year (CSY), 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
