A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the current school year at a high school location in San Jose, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide specialized support to high school students, helping them develop the skills necessary for academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of high school students.
  • Assess students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to create individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic goals within the educational environment.
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed through the school year.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials.
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings, preferably with high school populations.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and educational impact on therapy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage a high school caseload with part-time availability.
