A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with potential supervision in a high school setting located in San Mateo, CA. This position is set to begin immediately and continues through June 6th, covering the current school year (CSY). The assignment includes working within four buildings, serving a caseload of approximately 50 students ranging in age from 14 to 22.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure required; Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant considered with supervision
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple buildings
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educational staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services tailored to high school students’ individual education plans
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and participation in school activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in student assessments, team meetings, and IEP development

This position has been open for two weeks and offers a chance to support students through the remainder of the school year. Interview availability is immediate.
