An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in school-based therapy services. This position is located in Sandy, UT, and offers a contract engagement within a supportive school environment.

The role involves conducting initial assessments for two students to determine specific therapy needs. Based on the results of these assessments, there may be a possibility to extend the contract to provide ongoing therapy services for one or two students on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT/PT evaluations for two students to analyze their needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
  • Implement therapy interventions to support student progress within the school setting
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Experience providing therapy services within school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work on a contractual basis, with potential for ongoing weekly sessions
