Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to cover a maternity leave position within a K-12 school setting in Sterling Heights, MI, from March through the end of the school year. This role offers the opportunity to work with both elementary and high school caseloads, providing essential OT services that support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across elementary and high school levels
• Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust interventions accordingly
• Conduct thorough evaluations and prepare Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) reports
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic support
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Certified Occupational Therapist with relevant licensure
• Experience working in K-12 school settings, ideally with both elementary and secondary students
• Familiarity with teletherapy as well as traditional healthcare and home health OT services is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
• Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple cases
