This position is set in La Grande, OR, within an elementary school environment, where you will provide essential therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of approximately 65 students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in healthcare, particularly in home health and teletherapy
- Familiarity with K-12 education systems and therapy practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families
Location:
- La Grande, Oregon
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ physical and cognitive development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ overall wellness plans
