This role involves working with a diverse K-8th caseload, providing essential therapeutic services that enhance student learning and development for the full school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8th students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to address various physical and developmental challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student progress
