A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), with consideration given to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) if supervision can be provided. This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, serving high school students across four buildings.

Position details include immediate start through June 6th, with scheduled hours from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The caseload consists of approximately 50 students, aged 14 to 22, requiring occupational therapy support consistent with school-based practices. This assignment offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational environment supporting diverse developmental needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide school-based occupational therapy services to high school students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist credentialed to practice in California.
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly with adolescent populations.
  • Strong ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students aged 14-22.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability for immediate interview scheduling.
