A Delaware-licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) is sought to provide part-time support to students in grades 8 through 12. This school-based contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on adolescent students' developmental and educational progress.

Location: On-site at a high school in Newark, DE
Schedule: Approximately 8 hours per week during the school year
Duration: Contract through the current school year
Caseload Focus: Middle and high school students (8th–12th grade)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with individual student needs, focusing on improving functional skills for educational success
  • Conduct teletherapy sessions when required, utilizing telehealth best practices for virtual engagement
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulatory standards
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities as applicable

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Delaware Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience in school-based settings or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
  • Proficiency in telehealth/teletherapy service delivery beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and adapting therapy approaches to individual needs
