Occupational Therapy services are sought for a contract position focused on supporting students through telehealth and in-person care. This opportunity is based in Odessa, DE, within a school setting, and is scheduled for the summer session from July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026, including an orientation and setup day on July 6, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth and onsite as needed.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for students to support developmental and educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies.
- Participate in orientation and preparatory activities prior to the start of summer school sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Delaware.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivery of virtual therapy services.
- Knowledge of home health and healthcare OT settings advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a contracted timeframe.
Schedule:
- Summer school dates: July 7, 2026 – August 6, 2026.
- Orientation and setup: July 6, 2026.
- Work hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
