A Delaware-licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide part-time, school-based services to students in grades 8 through 12. This on-site role supports middle and high school learners with occupational therapy intervention and consultation within a flexible schedule of 8 hours per week.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Schedule: 8 hours weekly during the school day
Duration: Contract position through the current school year
Caseload: Students in grades 8–12
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, direct services, and progress monitoring to secondary students
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student goals
- Maintain timely and comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical recommendations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Delaware license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with educational teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
