This opportunity is ideal for an occupational therapist specializing in school-based settings, offering a full-semester contract in Tijeras, NM. The assignment focuses on supporting elementary and middle school students within a K-12 school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to an estimated caseload of 35-40 students.
- Support students across one middle school and two elementary schools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid or eligibility to obtain New Mexico RLD (Registered License for Occupational Therapy) and NMPED (New Mexico Public Education Department) licenses.
- Experience working in school settings preferred to effectively address educational and developmental goals.
- Ability to work on-site full-time; virtual service provision is not supported.
Work Schedule:
- 30 hours per week, aligning with the school calendar for a full semester.
