A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to provide services in a K-12 school setting located south of Stockton, California. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). The position involves working within a team of three Occupational Therapists and two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), serving students across approximately 29 school sites within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and educational accommodations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel among multiple school sites within the district.
Location: South of Stockton, CA (services provided in-person; virtual options are not available for this role).
