The position requires availability up to 2 days per week, with scheduling based on caseload and school needs.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
  • Skilled in providing direct services, consultation, and conducting evaluations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and changing school needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students with a variety of needs
  • Consult with teachers and educational staff to support individualized student plans
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to guide therapy interventions
  • Attend IEP meetings as needed, providing professional input on student goals and progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with families to support carryover of therapeutic strategies at home
