An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school environment. This full-time position is based in Des Plaines, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, enabling effective communication and support for diverse student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment for students requiring occupational therapy.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Deliver therapeutic services that enhance students' abilities to perform daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
