School Occupational Therapist - Wasilla, Alaska

This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to work within a K-12 school setting in Wasilla, AK. The position is a contract role lasting the full school year (NSY) through May 21, 2027. This is an in-person assignment requiring a candidate with Alaska licensure, as remote work will not be considered at this time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing approximately 1000 minutes (about 16 hours) of direct student contact weekly
• Delivering occupational therapy services aligned with school-based needs across K-12 students
• Collaborating with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by school and state regulations

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid Alaska Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy role is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary school environment
• Commitment to providing therapy in-person throughout the duration of the assignment
