A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support an early childhood program serving PreK students aged 3-5 years. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with young learners requiring occupational therapy services in a school setting.

Location: Watsonville, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that enhance students' participation and success in the classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student goals and promote best practices.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and pediatric therapy techniques.
  • Ability to engage effectively with young children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
