A temporary opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support in a K-12 school setting during a maternity leave period. This contract position will begin in mid-October and continue through December 19th, serving elementary and middle school students.

Scheduled for 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, the role requires presence from 7:25 AM to 2:55 PM in Westerville, OH. The therapist will manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering direct, hands-on therapy services without remote options. The position requires full OT licensure; utilizing a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is not permitted.

Key qualifications and desired experience include:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with pediatric therapy interventions across elementary and middle school age groups
  • Prior experience in home health and healthcare environments is a plus
  • Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently within a structured school day
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Primary responsibilities consist of:

  • Delivering individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students
  • Developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Collaborating closely with school staff to support students' educational goals
