Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to work with school-aged children. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and be comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Monitor and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Connecticut
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy
