Occupational Therapist School Setting in White Rock, NM

This part-time Occupational Therapist position supports K-8 students within a New Mexico school setting, offering flexible scheduling and impactful service delivery. The role focuses on providing occupational therapy services to approximately 30 students with diverse needs, promoting their participation and success in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress toward functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ developmental, sensory, and motor needs.
• Document services accurately in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico.
• Experience working with children in a school-based setting, preferably K-8.
• Strong understanding of education-related occupational therapy standards and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to engage students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

Location: White Rock, New Mexico

Schedule and Duration:

• Part-time contract from January through June 2026.
