A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available for the current school year (CSY) at an elementary school in Williamsburg, VA. This onsite role offers the opportunity to serve a student caseload of 45, providing therapeutic support and interventions that enhance students' educational experiences and daily functioning.

Located just one hour southeast of Richmond, close to Newport News, and one hour northwest of Norfolk, Williamsburg offers a community-oriented environment with convenient access to multiple metropolitan areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and support school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school-based practice
  • Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting, particularly at the elementary level
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and school-related interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the school year
