Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Washington, or eligible for licensure
  • Experience delivering OT services in school-based environments
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and maintain thorough records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy sessions to a caseload of 11 students, with six receiving weekly 20-minute services
  • Support additional needs as they arise—approximately 5 hours of work per week, with potential for slight increases related to evaluations or departmental requirements
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the IEP process, including report writing and meetings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s progress
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation according to school and legal standards
