Classroom Assistant | Allentown, Pennsylvania

Support students’ educational success as a paraprofessional in a K-12 school setting based in Quakertown, PA. This full-time, onsite position (30 hours/week) offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., supporting students with disabilities under the guidance of certificated staff. The role is housed within the district office and runs through the current school year contract ending June 10, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist certificated staff in delivering instructional programs and services tailored to students with disabilities.
• Provide individualized support to help students benefit fully from their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Deliver services in various educational settings, including special education classrooms, regular classrooms, or other appropriate environments.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts; preferred candidates will have relevant training in this area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience or training relevant to paraprofessional duties in educational environments.
• Ability to effectively support students in both special and general education settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and support personnel.
• Crisis intervention training is a preferred asset.
