An Anaheim-based K-12 school is seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential behavioral support for a student in need. This full-time position will extend through the remainder of the school year and into the Extended School Year (ESY), focusing on delivering 2:1 assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Behavioral Aide or similar role, preferably with high-intensity behaviors.
- Certification or support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a preference for male support staff as the student responds positively to that dynamic.
- Local residency to ensure reliability and consistent coverage.
Location:
- Anaheim, CA, with student transportation to Buena Park.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to the student during transportation and throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other support staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed to promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain professional boundaries and foster a supportive learning environment.
