1:1 Paraeducator in Granite City, IL

Seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to support students across K-12 classrooms in a dynamic school environment located in Granite City, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students requiring both 1:1 assistance and general classroom support throughout the current school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students in 1:1 settings, ensuring their academic and personal development goals are met
• Assist teachers with classroom management, instructional activities, and student engagement
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with educators and support staff
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student success
• Adapt to various learning styles and needs within diverse K-12 classrooms

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in an educational setting, preferably supporting K-12 students
• Ability to work effectively in both one-on-one and group classroom environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere
• Relevant educational paraprofessional certifications or training is preferred

Location & Duration:

• Position based in Granite City, Illinois
• Contract role for the current school year (CSY)
