An opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to support student learning in a K-12 school setting located in Harrisburg, PA. This full academic year contract position focuses on assisting teachers to create an effective and inclusive educational environment for students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, supporting academic and behavioral needs
• Assist with classroom management and the implementation of lesson plans under teacher guidance
• Support students with special needs or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and encourage positive student interactions and engagement during class activities
• Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar support role in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Understanding of diverse student needs and effective communication skills
• Ability to follow instructional plans and adapt to changing classroom dynamics
• Patience, empathy, and dedication to fostering student growth
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in education desirable
