Instructional Assistant - Inyokern, CA

An elementary school in Inyokern, CA, is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support a student with aggressive behaviors. This onsite, contract position offers approximately 30 hours per week, running through the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a student exhibiting aggressive behaviors
• Assist with implementing behavioral intervention plans
• Support academic and social development within the classroom setting
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other educational staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional, preferably in an elementary school setting
• Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner
• Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of the behavioral support required
