Special Education Paraprofessional in Johannesburg, CA

This position involves providing one-on-one support to elementary school students demonstrating aggressive behaviors within an onsite setting in Johannesburg, CA. The role requires a dedicated paraprofessional to work approximately 30 hours per week for the remainder of the school year, ending on May 28, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized assistance to a student with aggressive behaviors following established behavior plans.
• Support classroom teachers by managing challenging behaviors to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement interventions and track student progress.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of interactions and behavioral incidents.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions related to behavior management strategies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting.
• Ability to safely manage and respond to aggressive behaviors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Male candidate preferred to effectively meet the specific needs of the student.
• Reliable and committed to onsite attendance throughout the contract duration.
