A paraprofessional opportunity is available at a high school in LaFayette, GA, for the upcoming school year contract from February 6th, 2026, to May 22nd, 2026. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support to a high school student who is nearing independence from paraprofessional assistance due to a low-level disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized assistance and support to a student during the school day
• Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate student progress and transition
• Monitor student needs and adjust support strategies accordingly
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Educator Certification preferred
• Candidates without certification may be considered if certification is pending before start date
• Relevant experience working with students requiring paraprofessional support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to commit full-time (37.5 hours per week) through the contract duration
