1:1 Teacher Aide | O Fallon, Illinois

Multiple K-12 paraprofessional positions are available in a contract role to support students in both 1:1 and classroom settings. Located in O’Fallon, IL, these roles are within a K-12 school environment and cover the current school year duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students individually in 1:1 settings to support academic, social, and behavioral needs
• Support teachers within the classroom to enhance student learning and engagement
• Implement instructional strategies and accommodations as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with educators and staff

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a paraprofessional or teaching assistant
• Ability to work closely with students requiring additional support and accommodations
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality
• Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student growth
• Familiarity with K-12 instructional methods and special education best practices preferred
