An opportunity is available for paraprofessionals to provide essential support within an elementary school setting in Peyton, CO, near Colorado Springs. This contract position spans the new school year and involves working closely with students requiring assistance in both medical and instructional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse medical needs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the school day
  • Assist with instructional activities, helping students understand and engage with curriculum content
  • Work with small groups and individually in 1:1 settings to provide personalized support aligned with program goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and effective learning environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional in an educational setting is preferred
  • Ability to provide attentive and compassionate support to students with various medical or instructional needs
  • Skilled in managing small group instruction and 1:1 student interactions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel

Location:

  • Elementary School in Peyton, CO, in the Colorado Springs area

Hours and Schedule:

  • 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week

This role involves supporting 11 students across various programs, offering meaningful assistance that fosters academic growth and well-being.
