This position is for two paraprofessionals to support elementary students with significant disabilities in a school setting located in Provo, UT. Both roles involve working closely with students to provide assistance in lower math and reading areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with significant disabilities in academic tasks, primarily in lower-level math and reading
• Implementing individualized behavior plans (for one of the paraprofessionals)
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student learning and progress
• Monitoring student behavior and assisting in maintaining a positive learning environment
• Assisting with daily classroom activities and routines

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting students with significant disabilities
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans effectively (particularly for the role involving behavior plans)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically and socially
