Teacher's Aide - Ridgecrest, California

An immediate-opening opportunity is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to support an elementary school setting in Ridgecrest, CA. This position focuses on one-on-one assistance with a student exhibiting aggressive behaviors, requiring a skilled and patient individual who can manage challenging situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to a student demonstrating aggressive behaviors within the classroom and school environment.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to implement behavior management strategies.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation.
• Monitor and report student progress and any behavioral incidents in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, particularly in elementary education settings.
• Proven ability to manage aggressive behaviors with de-escalation techniques and patience.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, students, and families.
• Ability to work onsite full-time, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
• Male candidates are preferred due to the specific nature of the student’s needs.
