This part-time paraprofessional position supports a Pre-K classroom within a K-12 school setting, offering valuable experience in early childhood education. The role is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year, providing consistent, hands-on involvement with young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and student support.
  • Provide classroom support Monday through Thursday at the primary site.
  • Alternate Fridays between classroom assistance at a different site and preparation duties at the primary site.
  • Perform diapering and other personal care tasks as needed, ensuring student comfort and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to enhance the learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Paraprofessional certification or license in California.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom or educational setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a supportive classroom environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to perform diapering and other personal care tasks.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based onsite in Napa, CA.
  • Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday, with Pre-K hours from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Contract dates: January 12, 2025, through June 5, 2026.
