School-Based Physical Therapist - Altoona, PA

This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist position providing leave coverage for one month in a K-12 school district located in Altoona, PA. The assignment is a contract role with an immediate start date. Credentialed candidates are preferred to ensure the highest standard of care for students across the district.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Deliver therapy sessions and interventions in an onsite setting with some support via virtual consultation (VOCO)
• Collaborate with education and healthcare staff to support students' physical development and therapeutic goals
• Document therapeutic progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy credentials preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings is advantageous
• Ability to deliver both in-person and virtual therapy as needed
• Strong communication and documentation skills
