A full-time Physical Therapist position is available working with K-12 students in the Osceola County School District in Kissimmee, FL. This role offers the opportunity to support school-aged children with diverse physical therapy needs in an educational setting, providing interventions that promote mobility, independence, and participation at school.

Location: Kissimmee, FL
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 – May 28, 2026
Schedule: Full-time (35 hours/week; 7 hours per day)
Assignment: Services will be provided across multiple K-12 schools within the district; some travel between schools is required. The district aims to assign therapists to one school per day when possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to individual treatment plans.
  • Assess, design, and implement interventions that improve student mobility and function in the school environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district guidelines and state regulations.
  • Manage caseload based on severity and workload considerations, adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist licensure is mandatory.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings, is preferred.
  • Ability to travel between multiple schools efficiently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
