This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), providing essential therapeutic services to enhance student mobility, function, and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student goals and school participation.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and overall physical function.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications to enhance student access and safety within the school environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with state-specific credentials to practice in Texas.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, preferably within K-12 environments.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy techniques and developmental milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
