Physical Therapist - School Setting in Baltimore, MD

In a vibrant educational environment, professionals will provide essential services to infants and toddlers through assessments and therapy. This contract position is based in Baltimore, MD, within an early childhood setting, and spans from June 23rd to July 31st, focusing on the development and needs of young children.

Qualifications:

• Valid physical therapy license in the state of Maryland
• Experience working with infants and toddlers, particularly in a school or early childhood setting
• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

• Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide physical therapy services to infants and toddlers
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support child development
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made
• Participate in team meetings and provide insights on students’ physical therapy needs
• Limit services to a maximum of 7 hours per day, 28 hours per week, with no assessments on Fridays
