This part-time opportunity is available in Brooklyn, NY, serving a K-12 school setting with a focus on pediatric physical therapy. The contract spans the full 2025-2026 school year, starting September 2, 2025, and concluding June 26, 2026, with an 8-hour per week commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to a small class of 5–6 autistic students
- Deliver hands-on therapy and develop treatment plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with school staff and families to support the physical and developmental needs of students
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with relevant educational and therapeutic standards
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited institution
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license
- Experience working in school settings preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy, particularly with students on the autism spectrum, is beneficial
