School Physical Therapist | Brooklyn, New York

A public elementary school in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide onsite support for students. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), working one day per week for 7 hours, with a flexible schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:55 PM.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver physical therapy services to 5 students in grades K-4
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school setting
• Ability to tailor therapy interventions for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work within the assigned schedule and adhere to school policies
