Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Ohio state license in Physical Therapy
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings welcomed
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs from Kindergarten through 12th grade

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, treatments, and consultative services tailored to student IEPs
  • Create and implement interventions that increase mobility, participation, and engagement in educational programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust physical therapy plans
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation
  • Educate school personnel and families on therapy techniques and accommodations
  • Engage actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development
