A full-time Physical Therapist contract position is available for leave coverage from April 6 to May 22 in a K-12 school setting. This itinerant role involves supporting students across six different sites within a school district located in the Denver, CO area. The caseload includes approximately 55 students ranging from PreK through high school, with a focus on physical and multiple disabilities spanning mild to severe levels.
Key responsibilities include providing direct therapy services, collaborating with educational teams, and managing caseloads efficiently. This role also involves writing and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and utilizing pediatric mobility equipment to support student needs. Physical Therapist Assistants will be provided to assist at the three largest schools on your route.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification for Physical Therapists
- Prior experience working in Colorado schools
- Knowledge and experience in IEP writing
- Familiarity with pediatric mobility equipment
- Ability to manage a multi-site itinerant caseload efficiently

- Deliver physical therapy services to students with physical and multiple disabilities
- Coordinate and write IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Travel between six school sites, providing consistent and effective care
