School-Based Physical Therapist - East Hanover, New Jersey

A part-time physical therapist is needed to provide care in a K-12 school setting, supporting students with physical therapy needs. This is a leave replacement contract position located in East Hanover, NJ, with a schedule of three days per week, six hours per day (totaling 18 hours weekly). The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through January 19th, 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and treating students to improve physical function and mobility
• Collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to create individualized therapy plans
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Providing interventions that align with educational goals and promote student participation

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings
• Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and student age ranges
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
