School-Based Physical Therapist - Edison, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist dedicated to supporting K-12 students throughout an entire district for the school year. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment spanning multiple schools, where your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential. The assignment runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with daily hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
• Experience in school-based physical therapy, preferably with K-12 students
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
• Completion or willingness to obtain New Jersey’s required pre-employment clearances, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the agency and the school district
• Comfortable participating in interviews via Zoom
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students across grade levels and school campuses
• Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans to support student goals
• Monitor and document student progress with clear, detailed records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student access and success
• Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with district and state requirements
