The assignment runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with daily hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- Experience in school-based physical therapy, preferably with K-12 students
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
- Completion or willingness to obtain New Jersey’s required pre-employment clearances, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the agency and the school district
- Comfortable participating in interviews via Zoom
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students across grade levels and school campuses
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans to support student goals
- Monitor and document student progress with clear, detailed records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student access and success
- Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with district and state requirements
